Welcome to Hospitality House of the Cedar Valley!

I’m Joni Hansen, Executive Director and co-founder.

On December 15, 2009 we opened the doors here as the only daytime shelter in the Cedar Valley for those living in homeless situations.

We have been working diligently to help the marginalized become sustainable in their lives. We have evolved into a social service agency providing services to those in need through both the daytime shelter and the Warming Center, which we operate during the winter months.

Some of the services we provide are fulfilling basic needs, plus referrals to other agencies. We meet the person where they are at the moment and assess each person’s individual needs.
